EPCs

Energy Performance Certificates are more commonly referred to as EPCs and all property owners must provide one when selling. In addition, they are a legal requirement for new builds and rental properties.

You must have an EPC prepared before you market your property for sale or rent. It will contain information about a property’s energy use and typical costs as well as recommendations of ways in which energy consumption, and associated costs, can be reduced. The result will be an energy efficiency rating for the property ranging from A (the most efficient) to G (the least efficient). The EPC is then valid or 10 years.

We will be delighted to recommend an accredited assessor to prepare this vital document for you.
